Map 30 Pei-gang - Amended to show extent of operational TSC line westwards from Hu-wei Sugar Works

 

Map 45 Kaoh-siung North - Amended to show correct alignments at Zuo-ying and at Kaoh-shing Sugar Works and nearby tourist line. Sugar railway branch eastward from Kaoh-shing works shown.

 

New Section entitled "Articles" added, linking to four classic articles/books in Adobe Acrobat format on the Taiwan Railways. These include Charles S. Small's Rails to the Setting Sun Chapter 4 "Taiwan" and Rails to the Mines, a serialised article on the construction of the first railway from Kee-lung to Hsin-chu from the 1892 publication of "Engineering" and several articles on Taiwanese railways from the Far Eastern Review dated 1905 to 1911.

Maps 19 Taichung & Chang-hua, 24 Yuen-lin & Nan-tou, 37 Chia-yi & Hsin-ying, 40 Shan-hua, 42 Tai-nan, 45 Kaoh-siung North and 49 Kaoh-siung South updated with additional details of sidings off the TRA main line from Kaoh-siung to Tai-chung.
